HELENA — Frontier Conference basketball season is quickly approaching, and Tuesday the league held its annual virtual media day for all 12 men's basketball head coaches to preview respective programs.

During the offseason, the Frontier doubled in size by absorbing five former North Star Athletic Association programs and a first-year NAIA member.

Dickinson State, Bellevue (Nebraska), Dakota State, Bismarck State, Valley City State and Mayville State joined six Montana-based Frontier schools to produce two automatic qualifications into the NAIA National Championship Tournament.

Each team will play a 22-game double round-robin regular-season conference schedule. The season culminates in a Frontier Tournament to be held at the Butte Civic Center Feb. 26 through March 1, 2026.
