With new murals and restored classrooms, Tierra DeAniello has revitalized Dreams of Tomorrow Academy, honoring her aunt Rena Wilson’s legacy.

Following a year-long remodel, the reopening celebrates both the renewed space and the lasting impact of its founder on the community.

“It feels rewarding, and I feel accomplished being able to do what she envisioned,” Ms. DeAniello said.

In 2009, Mrs. Wilson expanded her home daycare and opened Dreams of Tomorrow. This inspired her niece, who began helping at age 14 and later returned with a business degree from University of Toledo, to take on the role as administrator of the center.

Following her aunt’s sudden death in 2024, Ms. DeAniello, now 32, chose to honor her legacy by continuing as administrator as well as owner.
