A Detroit woman was killed Tuesday night in Auburn Hills when she was struck by two vehicles while crossing Opdyke Road, officials said.

According to the Auburn Hills Police Department, officers and fire department personnel were called to the area of Opdyke Road north of Pontiac Road shortly after 9:18 p.m. on a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. The victim, age 47, was found to be dead from injuries sustained when she was struck while crossing Opdyke Road.

A preliminary investigation indicates she was wearing dark-colored clothing when she was struck, police said.

The drivers of the two vehicles involved are cooperating with the investigation, police said, which is ongoing.
