EXCLUSIVE: Blue Harbor Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution rights to SXSW prize winner Luv Ya Bum!

The documentary feature, produced by Lucky Number 8, celebrates an indelible figure in NFL history: Bum Phillips , head coach of the Houston Oilers during the 1970s.

Winner of the 2025 SXSW Documentary Spotlight Audience Award, the film is set to premiere in select theaters on October 24, followed by a digital release on November 25.

Narrated by actor Dennis Quaid, Luv Ya Bum! was directed by Sam Wainwright Douglas, David Hartstein and Andrew Miller. It combines rare, archival footage with interviews with football notables like Earl Campbell, Dan Pastorini, Peyton Manning, Sean McVay, Terry Bradshaw, Jerry Jones, J.J.
