Two weeks ago, Jaydon Blue was ready to “showcase his skills.” And the Dallas Cowboys needed him desperately with their veterans sidelined. But his debut didn’t show much spark, and now with a veteran coming back, his role is suddenly on shaky ground.

Stephen Jones confirmed on 105.3 The Fan that KaVontae Turpin , along with CeeDee Lamb and rookie guard Tyler Booker , “all have a chance to play” in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders . Simply put, Blue, who took over kick return duties while Turpin was sidelined, may no longer be needed in that role as the veteran prepares to step back on the field.

In his first two games, Blue showed flashes. But didn’t make a significant impact. In Week 5 against the New York Jets , he managed a solid 32-yard kickoff return.
