Authorities in Alaska have recovered a Minnesota radio owner months after he went missing with two other men while heli-skiing in the Chugach Mountains.

The State Medical Examiner confirmed Monday the remains of 39-year-old David Linder have been positively identified after being found by volunteers from the Alaska Mountain Rescue Group and Girdwood Volunteer Fire Department on Oct. 3.

Linder, who is originally from Minnesota but lived in Florida, was one of the co-owners of Radio Mankato, the parent company for a number of radio stations in southeastern Minnesota, including KTOE-AM, KATO-FM and Hot 96.7.

He was one of three men killed after being caught in an avalanche while heli-skiing near the resort town of Girdwood in March. The other two were identified as Jeremy Leif, 38, of Gold
