WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Wichita's Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is not playing a video released by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
In the video, Noem blames Democrats for the federal government shutdown and its impacts on Transportation Security Administration operations.
Jesse Romo, Wichita director of Airports, said the TSA requested that the Wichita Airport Authority play the video.
"While we deeply value and support our TSA partners and the vital role they play in ensuring the safety of our passengers, we will not be playing Secretary Noem’s latest video as we have policies that prohibit the display of political messages," he said.
