District Collector Pamela Satpathy lent her voice to a Telugu song celebrating the girl child, released during an event marking International Girl Child Day in Karimnagar. The song was performed by Satpathy and accompanied by a dance from primary school students.

Karimnagar: District Collector Pamela Satpathy once again displayed her affection for children by lending her voice to a new song dedicated to the girl child.

The song titled “O Chinni Pichuka… Chinnari Pichuka” was sung by the Collector and released during a programme held at the Collectorate auditorium on Wednesday to mark International Girl Child Day . Originally written in Hindi by lyricist Swanand Kirkire, the song was translated into Telugu by writer and Telugu teacher Nandi Srinivas.
