SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) - Three people were seriously hurt in a crash in Salem on Monday night, according to the Salem Fire Department.
The crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup with a camper happened at about 10:30 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway NE and Broadway Street NE.
Fire officials said both drivers were trapped and firefighters were able to rescue them using specialized tools.
In total, three people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to fire officials. There has been no update on their condition as of Wednesday morning.
Firefighters also rescued a dog that had been trapped in the pickup.
The cause of the crash has not yet been released. FOX 12 has reached out to the Salem Police Department for more details.
