New Delhi: Hyundai India has officially announced that it will launch eight hybrid models in the country by 2030. The brand had earlier confirmed its plan to introduce hybrids in April 2024, but this is the first time it has revealed the exact number of models that will be part of the line-up. These upcoming hybrids will play a key role in Hyundai’s strategy to expand its range of eco-friendly vehicles in India over the next few years.

The first hybrid from Hyundai in India could be the Bayon crossover, which is expected to debut next year. The same hybrid system may also be added to the updated versions of the i20 hatchback and Venue SUV later. This will allow Hyundai to offer hybrids in both lower and mid-range segments.
