DENVER — A dispute between Fort Collins-based Water Pik Inc. and two small manufacturers over the marketing of water dental flossers on the Amazon online marketplace has landed in federal court.
In a complaint filed Friday in U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, NeuralPulse Ltd., based in Albany, New York, and LuminaThrive LLC, based in Austin, Texas, contested Water Pik’s claim that the marketing of their OnlyOne water flossers constituted false and deceptive advertising as defined in the federal Lanham Act.
