Hospice in the Weald has unveiled a "first look" at the transformation planned for its centre in Pembury in Tunbridge Wells . Artists' impressions show designs for the inpatient ward at the hospice in Maidstone Road.

These are part of a major revamp at the hospice, which will include all patient areas. The hospice has been a huge part of the community since it first opened in 1998, and its fundraising efforts have made it a firm fixture on the local calendar.

Hundreds of hardworking volunteers live in villages and towns across the area. Hospice in the Weald provides free care for adults and children across Kent and East Sussex with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
