The former president of the student union at DAV PG College Siddharth Aggarwal has called for regulations to be established for the doctors and other staff living in the Government Doon Medical College hostel.

He led a group of National Students Union of India (NSUI) workers that held a Gherao of the Principal of Government Doon Medical College on Wednesday regarding a recent disturbance that occurred in the hostel and presented a memorandum to her.

In the memorandum, Aggarwal stated that a late-night party organised by PG doctors took place in the said hostel featuring loud music, alcohol and female participants.
