The Red Deer Rebels had a rollercoaster week on the ice, rebounding from two narrow losses with a dominant 5-0 victory on the road.
After falling 3-2 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Tuesday (October 7), and 6-4 to the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday (October 10), the Rebels delivered a statement performance in Lethbridge on Saturday (October 11).
Five different players; Samuel Drancak, Landon MacSwain (scoring his first WHL goal), Talon Brigley, Arjun Bawa, and Noah Milford, lit the lamp, while goaltender Chase Wutzke recorded 19 saves to earn his third career shutout.
The Rebels currently sit tied for 8th in the WHL Eastern Conference standings.
