Carrie Underwood surprised the crowd at the 2025 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards on Oct. 7. The country superstar joined Ben Fuller on stage to deliver a stirring rendition of "If It Was Up to Me."

While they recorded and released the song this past summer , she was not a part of the lineup that was announced prior to the show.

Fuller announced his duet partner just before her part of the song came around. Underwood looked angelic in a strapless A-line white dress and matching heels.
