A second person has been charged in connection with a home invasion-style robbery in Guelph.

The incident happened Sunday, just after 2 a.m., when several people entered a man’s apartment near Watson Parkway North and Starwood Drive, dragged him out of bed, and sprayed him with bear spray.

The man said they then took his wallet and a diamond ring. The intruders claimed to have a gun, but the man said he didn’t see one.

Security cameras showed three men arriving at the building in a black car and entering with a woman who was already on scene. Minutes later, all four are seen fleeing in the car at a high rate of speed.
