Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández is skipping Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel during the NLCS, after being trolled by MLB fans for a crucial mistake. But the reason, well, is Ghosts. At least, according to his wife. Hernandez alluded to how he and his family chose alternative accommodations, having heard of spooky stories from other teammates about flickering lights and mysterious noises.

Hernandez himself doesn’t buy into the supernatural, though. He’s stayed at the Pfister before without issue. Built in 1893, The Pfister’s long been rumored to be haunted. Dodgers star Mookie Betts, too, has famously avoided the hotel since 2022, citing similar eerie experiences.
