Dimitri Neonakis will do anything he can to help the Blue Jays right now, even burning two and a half hours of jet fuel.

The Halifax resident drew the Blue Jays logo in the skies over Nova Scotia on Tuesday, a move that has caught the attention of fans on social media. Taking off from Halifax International and landing in the small town of Debert, Nova Scotia, Neonakis flew Toronto’s blue-beaked bird and maple leaf with remarkable precision.

“We need some inspiration,” Neonakis said when reached by phone. “If I can help in any way from the sky, I’ll do it.”
