The Chicago Cubs had a Major League Baseball-leading six finalists for Gold Glove awards as the team looks to collect some serious hardware.

Headlining the group of Cubs named finalists was center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, whose dazzling plays, lightning speed and rocket arm caught the attention of baseball fans throughout the 2025 season.

Crow-Armstrong tied for the most defensive runs saved (DRS) among National League outfielders with 15, and also had 24 defensive outs above average (OAA), ranking second in all of Major League Baseball.

The talented center fielder will be going up against Washington’s Jacob Young and St. Louis’ Victor Scott II.

Ian Happ will also be aiming to win a Gold Glove for the fourth consecutive season, as he made only one error in left field in more than 3
