Defense attorneys for two Waynesboro police officers under indictment for on-duty misconduct were given access late last month to a transcript of the evidence against the officers heard by a special grand jury earlier this year.
Thirty-year-old Jacob Moore, a seven-year officer and a corporal, and 29-year-old Joseph Meadows, an officer with a year and a half of experience, were indicted in July by a special grand jury on charges of felony assault of a law enforcement officer and felony disarming a law enforcement officer of a firearm.
