If I didn’t know better, I’d think these covers were featuring an actual model. They’re really striking without trying to be blandly pretty — as it should be, on the cover of an alleged high-fashion magazine. The styling feel legit; the photos have action and life to them, and an actual point of view. The best way I can describe it is to say that they feel like real fashion magazine covers; perhaps our final remaining print magazines have decided to go out with a bang and stop trying to appeal to everyone anymore.
