Surrey Civic Theatres is launching a new theatre ticketing system this fall.

Starting Nov. 12 a move will be made to Spektrix, hyped on surrey.ca as "a modern, user-friendly ticketing system that makes buying tickets faster, easier and more flexible" than the current Theatre Manager system.

The upgrade means online tickets for all Civic Theatre events won't be available from Nov. 7-12. "You can still purchase tickets at the Box Office by telephone at 604-501-5580 until November 9 at 5 p.m.," the post adds. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

The Spektrix system offers mobile ticketing and self-service options, among other features.
