Patna, Oct 15 (IANS) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for the Raghopur Assembly constituency in Vaishali district for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
Along with his nomination, Tejashwi submitted an affidavit declaring total assets worth around Rs 8.1 crore, owned by him.
The affidavit details several luxury and high-value items, including an Italian-made “Beretta pistol”, 50 live cartridges worth Rs 1.05 lakh, and a desktop and laptop.
The RJD leader’s declaration also includes movable and immovable properties, with overall assets having increased since the last election cycle.
Tejashwi’s total assets, including movable assets worth Rs 6.12 crore, and immovable assets worth Rs 1.88 crore.
