With prolonged power droughts, just 25 homers and an OPS just over .800, Fernando Tatis Jr.’s 2025 season underwhelmed to some degree for a bat of his stature.

The glove, however, did not disappoint in the least as the 26-year-old right fielder was named a finalist for a second Gold Glove on Wednesday alongside the Diamondbacks’ Corbin Carroll and the Brewers’ Sal Frelick.

Tatis won his first Gold Glove in 2023 in his first full year in right field, when he was also named the NL’s Platinum Glove winner as his league’s best overall defender.
