Before he reunites with Adam Scott onscreen, Chernus currently stars in Peacock’s “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy,”(out Oct. 16), in which he plays the titular serial killer.

In “Severance,” his role as Rickon is much lighter. He’s Mark’s (Scott) pompous brother-in-law, a self-help author who wrote a book called, “The You You Are.”

The Emmy-winning Apple thriller has been renewed for a Season 3, but hasn’t announced a premiere date yet. Season 1 aired in 2022 while Season 2 aired three years later,
