Human remains discovered in a shallow grave behind a school on Saturday, Oct. 18, have been identified as those of 23-year-old Kada Scott, Penn State cheerleader and Miss Philadelphia Township winner, who vanished after leaving work earlier this month, multiple outlets are reporting on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Action News reported that DNA testing strongly indicates the remains belong to Scott, who vanished on Saturday, Oct. 4. NBC10 Investigators cited two sources confirming the remains are Scott’s.
