Bob Malcolm believes Kevin Muscat could do a similar job at Rangers to the one Ange Postecoglou did at Celtic. ‌

The former Australia international is a prime target for the Ibrox club in their search for a new gaffer. ‌

Muscat has enjoyed success as a manager in his homeland, as well as the J-League in Japan. ‌

Previously, he was an assistant to Postecoglou and is a disciple of the ex- Celtic and Tottenham boss.

Malcolm - who won a Treble alongside Muscat at Rangers in 2003 - believes Muscat’s style of play would go down well at Ibrox just like Ange’s did at Parkhead.
