Aldi has revealed it will be making a major change across stores from next week in a bid to make it "easier than ever" for shoppers to choose healthier food choices.

Starting from next week the supermarket will roll out the 'Live Healthy' logo across selected own-label products - including fresh produce, soups and yogurts.

The emblem is designed to be "clear and simple" and will highlight items which contribute to a healthy, balanced diet as defined by the UK's Eatwell Guide, the Mirror reports .

Aldi says the logo will look to give shoppers extra confidence in what they choose to pick up from stores.
