(NewsNation) — Police have made an arrest in the case of missing Philadelphia woman Kada Scott as the search for Scott remains urgent.

Scott, 23, has been missing since early October. She was last seen leaving her job at a senior living center on Oct. 4, 2025. Her car was still at her workplace, and her phone was dead.

Police arrested Keon King, 21, who they say was the last person in contact with Scott on the day she went missing. They say the two did know each other, though it's not clear for how long.

Scott said she was being harassed before she disappeared, but it's not clear if King was the person harassing her.
