N.C. State softball outfielder Ellie Goins is relocating.

The Mooresville native, graduating early in December, signed with Indiana as a grad transfer.

“Let’s go Hoosiers!” Goins wrote on Instagram.

Her remaining year of eligibility will be played in Bloomington, Indiana, where she will also continue her education. Goins will join the Hoosiers in January as a mid-year transfer and will be eligible to compete in the 2026 season.

"Ellie is an experienced outfielder who will strengthen our existing core," Indiana coach Shonda Stanton said. "She has the ability to make an immediate impact with her skillset, maturity and mindfulness. We are excited to welcome her to the Hoosier family."

A former high school standout at Mooresville, Goins played three seasons at N.C. State (2023-2025).
