A stolen car chase ended in a dramatic pursuit and multiple crashes on I-95 in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Troopers from the Trevose station spotted a stolen Honda CRV out of Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, traveling on I-95 Southbound around 12:50 p.m. in Bensalem Township. When they attempted to pull the vehicle over near Mile Marker 26, the driver fled, according to the release.
During the pursuit, the CRV struck state police vehicles twice before the suspects abandoned it along the shoulder and ran into the Frankford Creek area. All four occupants were located by troopers after a search and will face criminal charges, investigators said.
No injuries were reported among the suspects, though a trooper sustained a minor injury
