The Centre for Workforce Development hosted another successful Identification & Employment Clinic in Quinte West. These clinics support vulnerable and unhoused individuals obtain proper government-issued identification. Not having proper i.d. creates barriers to employment, housing, and essential services. CFWD Executive Director Sandi Ramsay says last Thursday 33 individuals – many with complex needs – were provided with 155 critical services related to identification, employment searches, transitional housing, mental and physical health and wellness, and more. Ramsay adds they’ll be hosting their first free Identification and Employment Clinic for the North Hastings community November 5 in Bancroft.
