Three KC Current players were called up to the U.S. Women's National Team on Wednesday for October matches.

Forwards Ally Sentnor and Michelle Cooper, along with midfielder Claire Hutton, were named to the team. All three have played for the national team in previous call-ups.

Wednesday's call-up marked the first for Sentnor as a member of the Current.

The USWNT is slated to play three matches during the October window:

U.S. coach Emma Hayes' 26-player roster included the team's Europe-based players: Catarina Macario, Emily Fox and Lindsey Heaps, who missed the last international window to recover from the long club season overseas.

Forward Trinity Rodman also returned to the USWNT for her first matches since April after being sidelined because of a back issue.
