SAN ANTONIO — A free pumpkin patch recently opened up at a northwest-side church and everyone is welcome.

The Oxford United Methodist Church, on 9739 Huebner Road, is providing free seasonal activities for families, including a pumpkin patch, hayrides through the "spooky forest," a petting zoo and specialty events.

There will also be a craft and vendor fair on Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No specific details were provided.

On Oct. 25 there will be a Trunk or Treat event starting at 6 p.m. where decorated cars will line up in the back parking lot near the gymnasium to pass out goodies to trick-or-treaters.
