EastEnders viewers are speculating that one iconic character could be making her way back to Walford.

During Wednesday's episode (October 15) of the BBC soap , Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) helped Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) navigate his mobile phone whilst attempting to arrange a surprise getaway for his wife, Julie (Karen Henthorn).

Whilst at the café, Oscar, the teenage son of Max (Jake Wood) and Tanya Branning (Jo Joyner), overheard Nigel discussing his desire to travel to India.

Nigel, who is living with dementia , remarked: "But at these prices, never mind Doha, we won't even get as far as Dover". This led Oscar to mention his grandmother, Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell).
