What to Know
Konstantinos "Kosta" Diamantis, a former state deputy budget director, is on trial accused of demanding bribes from construction firms in exchange for state contracts.
On Tuesday, the jury heard testimony about alleged payments and pressure and prosecutors played a voicemail they say Diamantis left, demanding money from an executive from Acranom.
Diamantis' attorney is raising doubt about the alleged payments.
The prosecution told the judge they have three more witnesses but expect to rest their case on Wednesday.
Pattis said he expects to call Diamantis to the stand this week.
