LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Garland County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman who shot at a sheriff's deputy who was attempting to arrest her.
Officials with the sheriff's office stated that 34-year-old Brandy Taylor is wanted on aggravated assault, possession of firearms, and fleeing.
A release stated that on Tuesday, the deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 5200 block of East Grand Avenue, when Taylor fled the vehicle on foot.
Officials said that the deputy chased and, while attempting to arrest her, she resisted.
During the arrest, the deputy noticed that Taylor was armed, and she fired one shot before the deputy disarmed her. The Deputy was not injured, according to officials.
