GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Keith Urban has canceled his concert in Greenville at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena scheduled for Thursday.

Event organizers said the cancellation is due to laryngitis that began this week and that he has been placed on complete vocal rest.

Refunds will be issued automatically for those who purchased through Ticketmaster. Anyone who purchased from a third-party reseller is asked to reach out to their point of purchase, according to organizers.

Urban issued the following apology regarding the cancellation:

Urban said his laryngologist Dr. Gaelyn Garrett, from the Vanderbilt Voice Center, is optimistic that he will be able to return to the stage for his show in Nashville.
