The BJP has named candidates for all the 101 seats it is contesting after releasing a second list of 12 candidates and a third of 18 candidates for the Bihar Assembly election on Wednesday (October 15, 2025).
The Janata Dal(U) and the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), National Democratic Alliance partners, released their first lists. The Janata Dal(U) named 57 and the LJP(RV) 14. Twelve JD(U) candidates are from the Scheduled Caste category. The party has fielded 18 MLAs and dropped four. The list does not include any Muslim candidates.
The party has given ticket to 23 new faces, and has retained Sonbarsa, Alauli, Rajgir, Emka, and Morwa reportedly claimed by the LJP(RV). Sonbarsa and Rajgir are held by the JD(U). In the remaining three, the party was in second position in the last electi
