Toyota Alabama has begun assembling three advanced differentials for its Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia vehicles. This marks a significant phase of a $282 million investment announced in 2024, creating 350 new jobs in the region.
“These new product lines highlight Toyota Alabama’s flexibility and reinforce the company’s commitment to our team and the Huntsville community,” said Marc Perry, Toyota Alabama president.
A differential allows wheels on the same axle to rotate at different speeds, ensuring smoother handling, particularly when turning.
