LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Retired federal agents join forces to help support their fellow colleagues.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection retirees are rallying in support of Esther Gonzalez-- who is a cancer survivor and ambassador for a fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Association.

Gonzalez was first diagnosed with cancer in 2021-- and is now in remission. Gonzalez continues to share her knowledge and experience plus she shares words of advice for others battling cancer.
