LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Being “UGLI” is taking on a whole new meaning as United ISD rolls out a student-led anti-bullying program this month, with participating schools receiving $2,000 each to launch and maintain new clubs.

The program is part of Bullying Prevention Month and Unity Day, in partnership with the UGLI Foundation based in Austin. The initiative encourages students to see being “UGLI” as unique, gifted, loved, and individual.

“They’re going to start new initiatives with promoting that with the students.
