ST. GEORGE, La. (WAFB) - The St. George Fire Department is asking for public assistance to identify an arson suspect.

On Monday, Oct. 14, officials from the SGFD and BRFD responded to a structure fire on the 11000 block of Airline Highway.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a clothing rack on fire inside the business. They were able to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage. No injuries were reported.

After reviewing security footage, investigators concluded that the fire was intentionally set.

The St. George Fire Department is now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons of interest in this case.
