QB Dillon Gabriel became the person the offense looked to help generate points when he was named the starting quarterback before Week 5.

Being the starter came with the need to build chemistry with the offense, including WR Jerry Jeudy . Before his first start, Gabriel said he would be surprised if he found anyone who thinks more highly of Jeudy than himself.

Gabriel has targeted Jeudy 18 times in his first two games this season, more than any other pass catcher. Although Jeudy had seven receptions in those two games, between Gabriel and Jeudy, both believe they are going to get on the same page consistently.
