SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A Sparks man has pleaded not guilty to shooting two men who were renovating an apartment in Sparks.

The case began in September of 2024 when the Sparks Police Department responded to E Street for a reported shooting.

When they arrived, they found two injured men who were taken to the hospital. One of the men later died.

Police say Yun Kim opened fire on two people renovating a unit after they got into a fight. A witness intervened and was able to subdue Kim.

Kim appeared in court on Wednesday and pled not guilty to murder, assault, and attempted murder, all with deadly weapons enhancements.
