BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Bismarck Public Schools is launching a new project, called “Play and SpeAACk,” to make playtime more inclusive for all preschool and elementary students.

The goal is to install Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) stations at every elementary and preschool across the district to create play spaces that allow all children to express themselves and connect with their classmates.

These tools help students who are non-verbal, have other complex communication issues or are learning English.
