ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - LSUA Men’s and Women’s Basketball are back on the floor getting ready for what they hope is another run deep into March.

“The standard’s been set by the previous teams, so we just got to keep that moving forward so we can be successful,” LSUA Women’s Basketball head coach Billy Perkins said.

On Oct. 15, the Generals hosted their yearly preseason ‘Midday Madness’ event, featuring an introduction of both teams, scrimmages, a three-point contest and dunk competition.

“Today was fun,” LSUA Men’s Basketball junior guard EJ McQuillan said. “We really went out there just to put on a show for the fans and show what they expect coming into the season. It was just something fun for us to get away from the grind and hard work that we’ve been putting in at practice.”
