BOWLING GREEN, Ky . – It’s time to reveal this week’s WKU Player of the Week, and the honor goes to Lady Topper golfer Sydney Hackett.
Hackett had a phenomenal junior year that saw a trip to the NCAA Regionals and her senior campaign has done nothing but display that same high level of performance.
She has won three CUSA weekly honors this season, including the most recent one this week following a tied for first finish in Tennessee at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate.
Hackett shot -11 in the competition, which marked the second lowest score through 54 holes in WKU history. With her third career win, she is now tied for the third most wins in Lady Topper history behind Mary Joiner and Catie Craig.
