PHOENIX — Two people died due to a crash involving multiple vehicles Wednesday afternoon in Phoenix, authorities said.
Initially, they were treated on the scene of the collision at 35th Avenue and Union Hills Drive around 2:15 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
However, they died from their injuries, police said.
Two other people involved in the two-vehicle crash were brought to a hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives were on their way to investigate the collision scene as of 4:30 p.m.
