More than 200 area residents came to Landreth Park on Tuesday evening to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative group Turning Points USA. Kirk was shot and killed last month during one of his debate sessions on a college campus in Utah.
Tuesday would have been Kirk’s 32nd birthday, and area residents Dave Peterson and Tree Dye organized a rally billed as a "Tribute to Charlie Kirk," which included musicians and speakers. ×
